"Tai Chi and Qigong 50 True Chi Stories" includes inspirational stories from fifty people whose lives have been made better by Tai Chi and Qigong.

Originally from China, but now practiced the world over, Tai Chi and Qigong help their practitioners improve their health and fitness, aid in healing and recovery of illness, relieve stress, develop energy and vitality, and gain a better sense of connection to themselves and the world around them.

In today's information age, you can easily find research studies and statistics on the value of these Chi energy development practices. And you can even find dramatic stories of people who have received miraculous healing from these arts for all sorts of health problems.

But the value of Tai Chi and Qigong is not shown just by studies and statistics. And it's not shown just by miracles that happen only occasionally or sporadically. While statistics and miracles are impressive, the value of Chi Development is really shown in the mundane.

It's the simple changes that happen in the daily lives of students and practitioners that show the real power of the Chi arts.

That's the emphasis in this book of Chi stories. Yes, you'll read about a few healing miracles here, but the main emphasis is on the everyday benefits we've received from our dedication to Chi development. In other words, this is all about "lives made better" by Tai Chi and Qigong.

These are real, everyday stories from people just like you!

Tai Chi and Qigong 50 True Chi Stories Tai Chi and Qigong for Real Life eBook Al J Simon

Several years ago, I gave Tai Chi a try, after interviewing a Tai Chi instructor for a newspaper article I was writing at the time. In spite of being in relatively good shape and having practiced yoga for a long time, I still felt like a klutz trying to master the Tai Chi moves initially. Although I thought it was a worthwhile discipline to practice, I didn't pursue it at that time.

After reading this ebook, my interest in Tai Chi has been piqued once again!

I really enjoyed reading most of the stories in this book. They come from a wide range of people of different ages, fitness levels and areas where they live. A few of the stories were a bit "weak" and didn't really say much but overall, very interesting and enlightening just how much Tai Chi can impact a person's life positively, if practiced on a consistent and regular basis.

I now plan to seek out a Tai Chi DVD to get started. I always appreciate having a DVD for exercising at home, with any new type of exercise regime. Hopefully, I'll get past my "klutz-phase" a lot faster this time and proceed from there. ;-)

If you've been curious to know more about how Tai Chi could help you, these stories may be most helpful.

This is NOT an instructional ebook for Tai Chi, in case anyone thinks that is included at all. It isn't. But it is a helpful book nonetheless!

Tai Chi and Qigong 50 True Chi Stories (Tai Chi and Qigong for Real Life)

Some people may say that this book isn't proof that Tai Chi or Qigong really works.

This book wasn't put together to give proof, it was done to show true stories from around the world of how Qi energy, Qigong & Tai Chi has enhanced peoples lives.

As a Tai Chi & Qigong instructor with a number of years experience I know what the benefits of performing Tai Chi & Qigong are.

People who doubt the healing benefits of Tai Chi & Qigong should give it a try.
this book was delivered wireless to my kindle the book came through just fine the book was a good read
I thought it was a good thing this book was only $0.99. It consists of short testimonial type reviews that are like a page long and not very informative. If you're looking for some kind of scientific proof that tai chi works, this isn't it.
The stories are short, few details and some aren't even about Tai Chi or Qigong. Overall, more like a bad attempt at self promotion. I liked the stories in the book Tai Chi Therapy better, more details, plus supporting research.
Inspiring! Everyone can relate! The true stories tell so much about what Al's teachings are all about.
This little book is from the hearts of all who contributed to its making. Tai Chi is being used in hospitals and rehabilitation centers all over the world..............Must be some thing in it as our Doctors can see the benefits as well. Tai Chi got rid of all my aches and pains and at 66 yrs old has kept my body supple , and I can still touch my toes. Cheers to Al Simon for this book. Marg
It may seem a bit prideful of me to review a book in which I am featured, but as I am one of many authors, I feel it is my right.

Mr. Simon started out with a simple idea to collect true stories about Tai Chi and Chi Gong/Qigong from its practitioners. It seems an unenviable task, as the people that he interviewed were often neither writers nor scientists nor, in most cases, even martial artists. Bringing this all of this together must have seemed at times like planting a large garden.

Yet there is a simple eloquence in the relief from pain, and no proof is greater than people from many walks of life stating simply that it has helped them in a myriad of similar ways. And perhaps the fact that no black belt is required, no long hours of katas to learn, but simply the following of graceful forms set down thousands of years hence, is reason enough to continue.

Thusly noted, I believe that Mr. Simon's project was a good one. And by its low price it does precisely what was intended raises modern awareness about ancient arts that help the body remain healthier, more flexible, and more graceful, regardless of age.

I hope that you enjoy it, and that you might take the opportunity to explore these arts in your own way.
